Day 1:  Yerevan City Tour

On arrival transfer to your selected hotel. Evening city tour around Yerevan the history of which goes back to 8th c. The sightseeing tour includes visit to Republic Square, Northern Avenue, Opera House with Swam Lake, Cascade Monument which is considered to be the center of art of the city as here you can find unique sculptures. Do not forget to visit Republic Square in the dark to enjoy the “Dancing Fountains” which gathers people around to show its choreographed water show synchronized with lights and music.


Day 2:  Yerevan / Khor Virap / Noravank 

Morning departure to Khor Virap Monastery (4-17cc.) which is located very close to the Biblical Mount Ararat. The significance of the church is connected with Grigor Illuminator who was prisoned in the church for 13years for adapting Christianity as state religion. Departure to Vayots Dzor region to visit Noravank (means “New Monastery) Monastery (13th c.), which is a masterpiece of Armenian architecture located in the narrow gorge and encircled with red-stoned mountains which gives one the harmony of nature and culture. Overnight in Yerevan. 


Day 3: Yerevan / Tsakhadzor / Lake Sevan / Dilijan 

After breakfast departure to the resort town of Tsakhkadzor (Gorge of Flowers) Walking tour around the city. Opportunity to ride up the ropeway which will take you to the peak of mount Teghenis. 

The road will take us to Lake Sevan which is going to be one of the highlights  of your trip. Climb the stairs up on the peninsula from where opens a fascinating view to the “blue-eyed” lake. Sightseeing tour on the peninsula. Lake Sevan is considered to be one of the largest sweet water lake in the world at an altitude of 1897 meters above sea level.

Departure to the resort  town of Dilijan which is considered to be the “Little Switzerland” of Armenia. Here we will walk through Shahamberyan Street where you can look around the wooden traditional buildings and architecture from 19th century. Overnight in Yerevan.


Day 4: Yerevan /Garni / Geghard / Vernissage

After breakfast departure to Geghard Monastery (13th c.) – a monastery which is hewn out from a cave. The monastery had been originally named Ayrivank meaning "the Monastery of the Cave". 

Continue our journey to Garni Pagan Temple from 1st c. The temple was built by Armenia King Tiridates and was dedicated to the God of Sun Mithra.   

Drive back to Yerevan to visit Vernissage flea market which offer many kinds of national souvenirs, jewelry and many traditional items. You can also visit Dalma Garden Mall for some shopping.  


Day 5: Departure. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
